Fall and Winter Montrose Farmers’ Market

Monday, November 15th, 2010

Fall is here, but lately some days look and feel more like winter!  A huge THANK YOU to all of our customers, both online and at Farmers’ Market, for doing business with us this year!  We appreciate YOU and look forward to growing more food for you in the years to come!

We are happy to announce November 20th as the opening day for the Winter Montrose Farmers’ Market, which will be held indoors at The Creative Corner, which is on Main Street, right beside the Daily Bread Bakery.  The hours will be from 10:00 to 1:00, and the Market will be held the 1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month.

We will have for sale:  potatoes, garlic, winter squash, chard, and hopefully fresh lettuce and spinach!  We will also have our farm-fresh eggs for sale, along with a variety of baked goods.

If you’d like me to bake a pie for you, please don’t hesitate to call me, at 240-6163!  :)

Hope to see you soon!

The garlic is planted!

Whew!  We did it!  We put over 60,000 cloves of garlic into the ground in a 2-week period!  Thank you to our family that came and helped SO much and to our two employees who are great at coming to help out when we call!  And thank GOD for the nice soft dirt, the health and strength to carry on, and the anticipation of a lovely crop of garlic in the summer of 2011!
