Food Garlic

We are SOLD OUT of our food garlic until our 2012 harvest in late June/early July. We will begin taking orders for garlic in April, 2012. Our garlic powder and garlic granules are available year-round, or while supplies last.

Our Certified Organic garlic is a gourmet delight, for your eating pleasure! These bulbs are approximately 1 1/2″ – 1 3/4″ in diameter – smaller than the bulbs we recommend for planting.

Inchelium Red Garlic (Artichoke, softneck)

Our most productive garlic because of the numerous cloves in each bulb. Has won taste tests at the Rodale kitchen. Inchelium Red has less heat than our other varieties. Good raw, cooked, and baked!

Chesnok Red (Purple Stripe, hardneck) Garlic

Easy to peel cloves. A flavorful favorite for cooking and baking.

Nootka Rose (Silverskin, softneck)

Our last to harvest garlic variety and our best keeper. Great for braiding. Nootka Rose won the prize for best taste, raw and baked, at our farm’s taste test.

Georgian Crystal Purple (Porcelain, hardneck)

Porcelains are popular with garlic lovers because of their large, easy-to-peel cloves. These bulbs have 4 to 7 beautiful, plump cloves. Very flavorful.

	Shantung Purple Garlic (Turban, hardneck that may grow softneck in mild climate) Most of our Shantung Purple grows as a softneck. Our earliest and one of our prettiest garlics, with lots of color. Good flavor, with some heat. Our favorite in salad dressings! SOLD OUT
