Certified Organic Food Garlic Varieties for 2014
|Inchelium Red Garlic (Artichoke, softneck)
Our most productive garlic because of the numerous cloves in each bulb. Has won taste tests at the Rodale kitchen. Inchelium Red has less heat than our other varieties. Good raw, cooked, and baked!
|Chesnok Red (Purple Stripe, hardneck) Garlic
Easy to peel cloves. A flavorful favorite for cooking and baking.
Sorry, not available.
|Nootka Rose (Silverskin, softneck)
Our last to harvest garlic variety and our best keeper. Great for braiding. Nootka Rose won the prize for best taste, raw and baked, at our farm’s taste test.
|Georgian Crystal Purple (Porcelain, hardneck)
Porcelains are popular with garlic lovers because of their large, easy-to-peel cloves. These bulbs have 4 to 7 beautiful, plump cloves. Very flavorful.
|Romanian Red Garlic
Porcelains are popular with garlic lovers because of their large, easy-to-peel cloves. Romanian Red is hot and pungent.
